How are Bonsai Plants cared for?

The Japanese practise of "Tray planting," or bonsai, has been practised for thousands of years and is still popular among gardeners today. The art of bonsai involves synchronising the shape, texture, and colour of the tree with the pot to create a seamless whole. Present-day bonsai trees come in a wide variety.

Proper watering is part of bonsai tree maintenance. Your Bonsai should be submerged in water once a week until the bubbles cease rising to the surface. Avoid using excessive water pressure. Don't only water the soil because the bonsai plant's entire body absorbs water to some extent. If your Bonsai flourishes better outdoors, pick a spot that provides six or more hours of sunlight. Indoor Bonsai need two to four hours of natural sunlight or artificial light.

Regular tree shaping is required. Any branches that obstruct the desired style should be cut off. Then, prune to reroute growth. Branch pruning is often done in the spring, when much of the new growth is removed.

How do you prolong the freshness of your cut flowers?

Floraladda knows that giving flowers is a sentimental gesture, so we go above and above to give you only the finest blooms. Although delicate, flowers can be enjoyed for 3–4 days with the proper care.

Every morning, we take great care to select the greatest flowers, and we make sure they are properly hydrated and packaged with the highest care before they arrive at your door.

·         Flowers can be sent in bud, semi-blossomed, or fully bloomed stages.

·         If your flowers are sent in a bunch, take the packaging off so they can breathe. Place them in a vase filled with sterile water. Each flower stem should have about 2 cm cut from the bottom, and any leaves that are below the waterline should be removed. This step is crucial because it promotes improved water and nutritional absorption.

·         Attend to the needs of the flowers' food and water. These two conditions are crucial in preserving the freshness of cut flowers for a long period of time. You must thoroughly clean the vase before replacing the water that is already in it. Fill the flower vase with room temperature water and the appropriate amount of flower food (if available).

·         In addition, make sure that there isn't any dirt, trash, or other unpleasant materials in the water, such as dried-up leaves, stem fragments, or anything else. This is due to the possibility of bacterial growth, which might significantly shorten the flower's lifespan and harm its overall health.

·         If your flowers are sent in an arrangement shape, meaning that they are fastened to floral foam, all you need to do is make sure the foam is kept moist throughout the day. To achieve this, just hydrate the foam by pouring water over it. You don't need to clip the stems when making an arrangement.

·         Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, air vents for heating or cooling, direct fan draughts, and the tops of radiators or televisions. They may speed up the drying and wilting of the blooms.

·         Love the blooms!
